Banana Bread Muesli

majority of store bought muesli’s contain sugar and oils which makes them not all that healthy as they are perceived to be.
my recipe involves no oil or sugars using banana as flavour & sweetener.


– 4 cups rolled oats
– 2 small ripe bananas
– 1/2 cup chopped nuts
– 1/2 cup seeds {sunflower, pepitas ect.}
– 2 tbsp raw buckwheat (optional)
– 1 tsp cinnamon
■ combine the above in a bowl with your hands until the banana is spead over the dry ingredients & there isn’t any banana chunks
■ in about three batches, spread some of the mixture on a baking paper lined baking tray
■ pop into a preheated oven on 180°C for 10 minutes
■ when 10 minutes is up, crumble up & move around the mixture on the tray & pop back in for another five minutes until crunchy but be sure not to burn it. do this for all the batches.
■ when all the batches are done, allow to cool & add in your extras:
– sultanas, goji berries, shredded coconut ect.

perfect to serve with choice of milk, fruits and/ dairy-free yoghurt for breakfast, post workout or for a balanced snack.
