Spiced Apple Granola – Sugar Free

● preheat the oven to 180°
● in a bowl combine:
– 4 cups rolled oats
– 1/2 cup seeds {i used pepitas & sunflower seeds}
– 1/2 cup chopped nuts {i used walnuts, almonds & cashews}
– 1 + 1/2 tsp cinnamon
– 1/4 tsp cloves
● stir in one cup of apple sauce {i made my own} until everything is well combined.
● lay out some of the mixture evenly on a baking paper lines baking tray and pop into the oven for 10 minutes.
● remove from the oven, and mess the granola up to ensure even baking then sprinkle coconut shavings {optional} and pop back in the oven for 5 minutes.
● my mixture did about three trays worth, so repeat until all mixture is baked, setting each one aside until cooled.
● once cooled add in any thing you like, i added dried cranberries & goji berries.

Use with dairy-free yoghurt & fruits, with milk, on top of smoothies or by itself as a healthy snack for on the go!
